Bingham High offensive lineman Cole Clemens lived the first few years of his life in Illinois and Texas before his family moved west to Utah, and now he'll be heading back east to play college football.
On Friday night, the 6-foot-6 Clemens announced via Twitter that he has committed to play at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
He was also considering in-state schools BYU and Utah, as well as Virginia.

In an interview with the Deseret News in late November, Clemens indicated he went to a camp at Vanderbilt in June and enjoyed his time there.
"The Vanderbilt thing was intriguing from the beginning just because it's a big-time private school," he said. "It's pretty prestigious academically, it's in the SEC...the other thing about Vanderbilt is Nashville's a great place. It's a really good town."
At the time, Clemens said he had an official visit scheduled at Utah in late January.
