Adult Day Services clients at Neighborhood House deliver more than 150 hygiene kits to the residents of Sunrise Metro Apartments in Salt Lake City on Friday as a way of giving back to the community.
The kits feature travel-size hygiene products for homeless individuals and families. In addition, Adult Day Services is giving back to the kids in Neighborhood House’s children’s programs through a Dollar Tree Christmas project.
Donations of toys valued under $5 each are being accepted at 423 S. 1100 West through Dec. 22. The older and disabled adults of Adult Day Services will then wrap and deliver the gifts to children ages 15 months to 12 years at Neighborhood House Children’s Day Care Center on Dec. 23. Neighborhood House Adult Day Services provides a safe, homelike environment for individuals 18 years and older who need supervised care during the day.
