FARMINGTON — The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources is sponsoring a free ice fishing clinic 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Cabela’s, 391 N. Cabela's Drive.

Clint Brunson, an avid ice angler who also serves as a fisheries biologist with the DWR, will share tips and tricks to help anglers catch more fish in northern Utah.

Phil Douglass, regional conservation outreach manager for the DWR, said the seminar is open to anyone who has an interest in ice fishing.

"If you're a beginning angler, the clinic will give you the confidence you need to gather your gear and hit the ice," Douglass said. "If you're an experienced angler, you should pick up some tips that will help you catch more fish."
