WASHINGTON, Washington County — Three people were taken to the hospital Monday evening following a fire that destroyed a trailer home, police said.
All three were inside the home when the fire at 434 E. Angie Lane broke out about 6:30 p.m., said Washington Police Chief Jim Keith.
Keith called the fire "pretty serious" and said one of the three fire victims was transported by medical helicopter. He didn't know the victims' exact conditions Monday night.
No firefighters were injured in the blaze. The home was fully engulfed when they arrived, Keith said. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
The fire destroyed the single-wide trailer home and likely caused between $10,000 and $15,000 in damage, according to Keith.
