WEST JORDAN — Jordan School District’s Board of Education is asking for public input as it considers boundaries for two new elementary schools that will open in fall 2017.

One school is located in Herriman and the other in South Jordan.

Potential boundary changes could involve Butterfield Canyon, Daybreak, Eastlake, Herriman, Midas Creek, Silver Crest and Welby elementaries.

Boundary changes are also being considered for Hayden Peak and Fox Hollow elementaries, which would allow Fox Hollow to move to a traditional calendar.

Parents impacted by the potential changes are encouraged to take a online survey at elementaryschoolboundary.com.
