Dixie State senior center Taylor Mann has been named Pacific West Conference Player of the Week for a conference-high fourth time, the league office announced Monday.
Mann repeated as the conference’s top player, averaging 21.0 points and 18.3 rebounds in three games. She recorded a double-double in each game, giving her a program record and NCAA-leading 22 on the season. She scored 26 points and tied her own program record with 26 rebounds in a Senior Night win over Concordia.
She became the third Dixie State women’s player to score 1,000 career points and second to score 500 single-season points. She finished the year as the PacWest leading scorer (20.1 ppg) and rebounder (13.4 rpg), ranking in the top 15 in the nation in both categories.
Mann wraps up her career as the Dixie State women’s basketball all-time, single-season and single-game rebounding leader. She also ends her DSU career with 41 double-doubles, the most in program history, and finishes second in all-time scoring.
