SOUTH JORDAN — The city is sponsoring its fifth annual rabies clinic on Saturday, April 9, at the Animal Services Shelter, 10882 S. Park Road (1850 West), from 8 a.m. to noon.
During the event, a veterinarian from South Mountain Equine will administer rabies vaccinations ($15), annual boosters ($10) and microchips ($20).
In addition, participants can license their pets with the city. New dog licenses are $10; a renewal license for a sterilized pet is $5 or $20 for a pet that has not been sterilized. Cats are welcome but must be in a pet carrier.
You do not have to be a resident of South Jordan to attend.
