Report: Former Ute offensive lineman Zane Beadles agrees to deal with 49ers

Zane Beadles' latest move in his NFL career brings him closer to his Utah home, again.

Beadles has agreed to a three-year, $11.75 million deal with the San Francisco 49ers after being released by the Jacksonville Jaguars on March 3, according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Caplan.

The former Ute and Hillcrest High alum joins another Utah native in San Francisco. Last year, American Fork's Jordan Devey was traded to the 49ers. Devey started nine games for San Francisco in the 2015 season and was tendered a one-year contract by the 49ers earlier this month.

Beadles joins his third NFL team in his seventh NFL season. The 6-foot-4, 315-pound guard was selected by the Denver Broncos in the second round of the 2010 NFL draft and played four seasons with the Broncos. That included playing in Super Bowl XLIII with Denver.

Beadles became a free agent in 2014 and signed a five-year, $30 million contract with the Jaguars. In two seasons with Jacksonville, Beadles started all 32 games.

Beadles brings plenty of experience with him to a San Francisco team that went 5-11 in 2015. In six seasons, Beadles has 94 career starts.

Last month, Beadles had his jersey retired by Hillcrest High.
