SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Transit Authority will increase TRAX service on Saturday, April 2, and Sunday, April 3, to accommodate crowds attending several events downtown.

Longer trains and extra trains will be put into service both days for the 186th Annual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at the Conference Center. Two extra Blue Line trains will run from Salt Lake City to Draper after the morning and afternoon sessions of conference, which begin at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The Priesthood Session begins at 6 p.m. Saturday.

An extra southbound train will run from the South Campus TRAX Station following the 2016 NCAA Salt Lake City Regional women’s gymnastics championships at the University of Utah’s Huntsman Center. The competition begins at 6 p.m. Saturday.

In addition, large crowds are expected for the Justin Bieber concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Vivint Smart Home Arena in downtown Salt Lake City and the Utah Grizzlies hockey game at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Maverik Center in West Valley City.
