Utah football won't have the services of 5-foot-8 wide receiver Britain Covey next season, but it can still feel his influence.

A pair of tweets shared on social media Sunday during Mother's Day show that football, and displaying pride for his school, are still on Covey's mind. The Timpview alumni is currently serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Chile Rancagua mission.

In one tweet, Covey compared one of the aspects of mission life, riding a bicycle, to blocking one of the toughest defenders he faced last year, safety Jabrill Peppers of Michigan.

Peppers played safety when the Utes beat Michigan 24-17 in the 2015 season opener. The star Wolverine defender worked at linebacker during spring practice, according to ESPN. In the win over Michigan, Covey had five receptions for 58 yards.

Another picture on Twitter showed Covey flashing the U. sign.

Covey announced his mission call in January.
