Letter: Vote for Trump

Over the past few months, I've seen such angst about the candidacy of Donald Trump. Personally, I don't see what all the anxiety is about. I think it would be refreshing to have someone in the White House who has accomplished something instead of another self-described "political class" person who would talk everything to death and never get anything done.

It would be great to have as a leader someone who has actually built companies, and provided jobs, instead of talking about those things endlessly. Most politicians don't know that government never creates jobs; it mostly just gets in the way of those who do — successful entrepreneurs and small-business people.

I agree that Mr. Trump says some dumb things — we all do — but I can look past that to the future results. Build a wall on our southern border and have Mexico pay for it. Where's the problem in that? Put America, and Americans, first. What's the problem in that? Deny entrance to our country of terrorists by not admitting people from terrorist countries until they can be vetted. How does that upset anybody?

Mr. Trump will shake things up a bit, both internally and internationally. Let other countries pay for their defense. Who could have a problem with that?

Let's make America great again. Put Americans first. Vote for Trump.
