Utah head football coach Kyle Whittingham makes a good mentor for players with NFL aspirations.

That's according to NFL.com writer Chase Goodbread, who ranks Whittingham the 16th-best college football coach at developing NFL talent.

Goodbread cites the fact that none of Whittingham's last five draft classes have been ranked in the top 35, yet 10 Utah players during that span have been drafted in the NFL draft.

Nate Orchard, a second-round pick in the 2015 draft, is given as an example. Whittingham recruited Orchard as a receiver and helped him transition into an NFL defensive end.

Enes Kanter remembered for hurling mouthpiece like Steph Curry

It must come naturally for angry mouthpiece wearers.

In Game 6 of the NBA Finals Thursday night, Steph Curry responded to his sixth foul by chucking his mouthpiece into the crowd.

On top of fouling out, Curry was given a technical and ejected from the game that the Cleveland Cavaliers went on to win 115-101.

As writers have speculated about Curry's impending punishment for throwing the mouthpiece, they've recalled when Enes Kanter threw his mouthpiece in a game in 2014 when he was a member of the Utah Jazz.

Kanter was fined $25,000, and on Friday morning, Curry received the same punishment.

Lorenzo Bonham and Joe Ingles to face off?

The Associated Press reported that the Australian "Boomers" will play against a Pac-12 all-star team, and that could mean a meeting between to Salt Lake City hoops players.

Australia's national team will use the two games, which will be played July 12 and July 14 in Melbourne, as a tune-up for the Olympics.

Utah Jazz player Joe Ingles may play for Australia. Utah Ute Lorenzo Bonham was announced as one of the players for the Pac-12 team.

It's like seeing a neighbor from home while on vacation.
