The University of Utah football program has had a busy 18 hours or so on the recruiting front.
Less than a day after picking up commitments from twin defensive backs Tristin and Zyon McCollum, the Utes received a pledge from running back Armand Shyne on Friday afternoon.
Shyne will be a part of Utah's 2017 class. He hails from American River College, where former Ute star Devontae Booker played before two standout seasons in Salt Lake City.
As a freshman at American River last fall, Shyne rushed for 734 yards on 128 carries with eight touchdowns.
Shyne did not return a request seeking additional comment.
Four players have now committed to Utah as part of the 2017 class.
