Photos and videos: Jordanelle's Aqua X Zone makes a splash

Hunter Patterson jumps from a platform as his brother, Chad Patterson, right, climbs out of the water at Aqua X Zone at Jordanelle State Park near Heber City on Friday. The new floating water park — the first of its kind in the state — is designed to allow up to 65 people to run, jump, swing and swim at any one time. The attraction is open Friday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., through June 23. It will then open seven days a week until it is deemed too cold to swim. Hours of operation will be 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Participants must be at least 6 years old and 48” tall.
