Photos: Ad firm encouraging employees to be cool

Richter7's Samantha Kiser smiles as she uses a pair of scissors to turn Jim Faulkner's pants into shorts in Salt Lake City on Monday, as the advertising and public relations agency's began its nineth annual No Pants Policy. Until mid-August, Richter7 is encouraging employees and clients to avoid wearing pants due to the intense summer heat. Shorts, capris, skirts, sarongs or even kilts are suggested, but no pants, even in professional meetings. All employees caught wearing pants in the “no pants zone” will be fined a quarter by the “pants police.”
