SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz signed their second second-round pick, Marcus Paige, Monday afternoon. The terms of the signing were not disclosed.
Paige, a four-year player at the University of North Carolina, was selected No. 55 overall by the Brooklyn Nets before being traded to the Utah Jazz.
During the Utah Jazz Summer League and the Las Vegas Summer League, Paige averaged 7.0 points, 1.6 assists, 1.6 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 19.7 minutes of action in nine games.
While at UNC, Paige averaged 13.1 points and 4.3 assists and shot 37.5 percent from 3-point range in four seasons.
Paige joins an already crowded point guard group with newly added George Hill, a recovering Dante Exum, and Shelvin Mack and Raul Neto.
The Utah Jazz signed their first second-round pick, Joel Bolomboy, August 19.
