Performers danced, sang and celebrated Salt Lake City's first Indigenous Peoples Day on Monday after city leaders decided the holiday would coincide with Columbus Day. Carl Moore, chairman of Peaceful Advocates for Native Dialogue and Organizing Support, does a traditional dance outside the Salt Lake City Public Library in Salt Lake City.
