As news broke Monday morning that BYU has relieved offensive coordinator Ty Detmer of his duties, many different groups of people shared their reactions on Twitter.

Cougar fans expressed a wide variety of emotions, from sadness that Detmer is out as offensive coordinator to happiness that change was made after a 2017 season that saw BYU go 4-9.

Aaron Roderick next up?

A number of people immediately speculated that Aaron Roderick, who played for the Cougars and was most recently the offensive coordinator at Utah, will replace Detmer.
