SALT LAKE CITY — The city’s Historic Landmark Commission is inviting the public to give input on a proposal to build a fitness court at Liberty Park during its meeting on Thursday, Jan. 4.

The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. in Room 326 of the City-County Building, 451 S. State.

According to the city’s Parks and Public Lands Program, the outdoor gym would include exercise equipment designed for multiple fitness routines. The equipment would be secured in place on 38-foot by 38-foot concrete pad topped with a rubber surface.

The fitness court would be located either in the northeast area of the park or the northwest area of the park.
