BLUFDALE — City officials will hold an open house at 6 p.m. on Jan. 4 to discuss landscaping options surrounding a project to widen 14400 South between Redwood Road and 2200 West.
The meeting will be held at City Hall, 2222 W. 14400 South.
The project — which aims to improve traffic flow and create sidewalks in the area — will also include a traffic circle at the intersection of 14400 South and 2200 West. In addition, 2200 West will be reconstructed from 13800 South to 15000 South.
Work on the project, which will take up to a year to complete, is expected to begin in February.
Residents are being advised the project will cause traffic detours and delays, as well as temporary water and power shut-offs as storm drain, waterlines and power poles are relocated and upgraded.
