SALT LAKE CITY — Gov. Gary R. Herbert was inducted into the Junior Achievement Utah Business Hall of Fame during an invitation-only event Thursday.
"Utah Business Hall of Fame laureates are inspiring leaders whose remarkable combination of vision and innovative work have made a major positive difference in Utah. And Gov. Herbert, in particular, truly personifies the ideals we want today’s young people to emulate," Christy Tribe, president and CEO of Junior Achievement of Utah, said in a statement.
Founded in 1919, Junior Achievement is the world's largest business/education partnership and the No. 1 school-to-career program in school districts across the country.
