Lehi Round-Up kicks off Saturday

LEHI — Listen up, buckaroos. The Lehi Round-Up — a weeklong celebration that offers parades, a rodeo, an art show and other family friendly events — runs Saturday through June 24.

The festivities will kick off with a 10K, 5K and Kid’s Mile fun run at 7:30 a.m. at Lehi High School, 180 N. 500 East. Registration is available at raceentry.com/races/lehi-round-up/2017/register. Other activities throughout the day include a double’s tennis tournament, a princess party and car show.

Monday’s events will include half-price swim day from 1 to 8:50 p.m. at the Legacy Center and 11 a.m. to 6:50 p.m. at the outdoor pool, and a concert in Wines Park, featuring Temecula Road at 6:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, there will be a baby contest from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Legacy Center, followed by a comedy show at 7 p.m. at Skyridge High School, 3000 N. Center.

Wednesday’s activities include a skateboard competition at 11 a.m., a family barbecue at Wines Park from 4:30 to 7 p.m., and an outdoor showing of “Sing” at 9 p.m. at Veterans Ball Park, 850 W. Main.

On Thursday, there will be a pet talent show beginning at noon at Wines Park, a golf tournament at Fox Hollow Golf Club, a stock parade from Wines Park to the rodeo grounds, 105 N. 500 West, at 6 p.m. The rodeo starts at 8 p.m.

Friday’s events include a market, bingo and laser tag at Wines Park beginning at 10 a.m.; a miniature float parade at 6 p.m. from Wines Park to Lehi High School; and the rodeo at 8 p.m.

The week will wrap up on June 24 with a $5 chuck wagon breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. at Wines Park. The breakfast will be followed by a parade at 10 a.m. from Wines Park to Lehi High School. A Family Fun Day will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Wines Park. The rodeo begins at 8 p.m., and immediately following that there will be a Family Dirt Dance.
