Every state has a favorite sneaker, but popular brands are hardly a “shoe-in.”

A new report from shopping website Polyvore ranked every state’s most popular sneaker.

The Nike-owned Converse brand led the nation across all states, as well as in Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico, according to Refinery29. Vans placed second in the 48 states.

But the third spot in every state showed some diversity.

"I can't remember the last time one brand dominated the country this way," Amy Wicks, senior fashion editor at Polyvore, told Refinery29. "It's pretty impressive. It seems to be the one footwear brand we can all agree on!"

Brands like Converse, Nike, Vans and Adidas have shown up throughout many states before, but this is the first year Nike leads all states.

Still, the report broke down each state’s top three sneaker brands.

In Utah, Converse led the way, followed by Vans and then Adidas (specifically the Superstars brand), according to Refinery29.
