Congressman Chaffetz, the last day of this month, you are returning permanently "... to spend more time with your family." While no one can blame you for wanting this, you are showing hypocrisy in its finest sense of the word. You campaigned and asked for your job and won. Now you pack up and leave D.C. just because your promise to serve the people of Utah was just a fly-by-night whim. Think about it.
The military guys in the Middle East that are on their third or fourth deployment can't call olly-olly-in-free and go home to spend more time with the family. My heaven, you all made the same promise to serve our country. Why do you get to just run home when they can't? I guarantee that they miss their families as much (or more than you do) as you do and they never get to say, "I miss my family; I want to go home now and just book out and go home." You both asked for your jobs, but they can't just say, "Hey, I want to spend more time with my family." Until the Marines, Army, Air Force and Navy get to serve their country whenever it is convenient, you should keep the job that you asked for. They are our nation's best and never just quit and go home. Shame on you.
