Deseret News

On President Trump's Historic Riyadh Address, I was watching TV coverage of this historic address to Saudi Royalty and over 50 invited regional heads-of-state and other Arab leaders. I wondered how the Deseret News/AP would report it.

A 100-line AP critique had ten lines of verbatim snippets, always quickly countered by the AP "reporters" opinions. The 50 invited guests were reduced to "dozens," and their rapt attention was not mentioned.

Am I now disappointed by this slanted coverage? No, it was to be expected.
