WEST VALLEY CITY — West Valley police said Wednesday they are investigating a hit-and-run crash as a homicide.
Jeremy Hardman, 47, died after he was hit on the corner of 4100 South and 3600 West.
Hardman and a friend got into an argument with another man around 4 p.m., and as they were all leaving the area, one man got into a black, four-door Lexus sedan, made a U-turn and struck Hardman while he was in a crosswalk, said West Valley Police Sgt. Bryan Peterson.
Police said they believe the crash was intentional and are treating the case as a homicide.
Police were looking for a 2001-2005 black Lexus sedan with a caved-in windshield and a loud exhaust.
