Willie Nelson had to cut short his concert Sunday at the USANA Amphitheatre in West Valley City.

According to the Associated Press, the 84-year-old country singer blamed the Beehive State’s high altitude.

Nelson ended the show early when he had trouble breathing.

Nelson wrote on Facebook and Twitter that the altitude got to him.

This is Willie. I am very sorry to have to cut the Salt Lake City performance short tonight. The altitude just got to me. I am feeling a lot better now and headed for lower ground.
