A New Zealand news and lifestyle website recently highlighted a ranch sitting on the Utah-Colorado border.

The website called the ranch “straight out of a Western.”

According to Business Insider, John Hendricks, the founder of the Discovery Channel, owns the estate.

West Creek Ranch sits between Mesa County, Colorado, and Grand County, Utah. Behind the home rests a backdrop of mountains and red rock.

“It's the stuff of great Westerns — bison, mountain lions and bears roam these cliffs. There are even genuine dinosaur footprints, and petroglyphs feature on the red rock faces that have formed over millions of years,” Stuff.co.nz explained. “But this Gateway ranch that straddles the Colorado-Utah border is no dry desert. It comes with its own water supply, so there are fish ponds, a trout stream and grass as green as you want it.”

In total, the ranch’s main house covers 21,990 square feet with four floors. It includes a breakfast room, a chef’s kitchen and a home theater. There’s also a game room, gym and art studio, according to Sotheby’s International Realty.

The fourteen-bedroom, twelve-bath home is currently listed on Sotheby’s International Realty for $149 million.
