WEST 33, CYPRUS 21: West outscored Cyprus 20-7 in the final quarter of the game to defeat the Pirates and improve to 2-0 on the season. Romeo Johnston threw three touchdown passes for the Panthers.

OLYMPUS 62, GRANGER 43: Olympus and Granger combined to score 105 points in a game that featured plenty of offense. Titan quarterback Harrison Creer tossed five touchdowns and ran for two more to lead Olympus to the victory.

BEAR LAKE, IDAHO 14, RICH 0: Rich couldn’t get much going, struggling offensively at Bear Lake, Idaho.

BRIGHTON 27, HILLCREST 14: Brighton trailed early in the game but showed it deserved the win against Hillcrest with a 21-point outburst in the second quarter and solid defense throughout the game. Nicholas Parker, Evona Hall and Sione Angilau each scored on short running plays for the Miners while James Smith rounded out their scoring with two field goals over 40 yards.

HUNTER 19, BOUNTIFUL 9: Bryson Takiaho scored first for the Wolverines with a fumble recovery and Niki Taukiaho followed up with a pick-6 as Hunter took an early lead and secured the home win over Bountiful.

KEARNS 24, WEST JORDAN 14: Journey Buba returned an interception 20 yards in the first half, part of a terrific defensive effort from Kearns as it knocked off West Jordan. Isaac Matua added a key rushing TD in the second half for the Cougars.

PRESTON, IDAHO 27, OGDEN 24: Carson White passed for and rushed for a score, but it wasn’t enough as Preston, Idaho, scored the last two touchdowns of the game to rally for the close victory.

PAYSON 23, CARBON 14: Payson jumped out to a fast 10-0 start in the first half to prevail against Carbon. Jaidon Tueller threw for two touchdowns to Jase Moe and Landyn Westover.

BINGHAM 48, EAST 17: After battling closely through the first half, the Miners blew the game open following the break. Bingham dominated on both sides of the ball, especially on the ground. Ryan Wood rushed for two scores, as did Braedon Wissler. Dax Milne hauled in the lone receiving touchdown of the game on a 35-yard pass from Wood.

DESERT HILLS 56, SALEM HILLS 10: The Thunder exploded for 28 unanswered points in the third quarter to take a commanding lead and secure the road victory over Salem Hills. Noah Sewell ran for four touchdowns and found Gavin Young for a fifth in the win.

VIEWMONT 27, DAVIS 13: Viewmont led 17-6 at the half and only expanded upon its lead in the second half in its win over Davis. Preston Pitt was perfect on PATs for the Vikings and hit two field goals, including a 49-yarder. Cameron Brown, meanwhile, was solid for Viewmont’s offense, catching a touchdown and running for another.

SKYRIDGE 60, MURRAY 9: Jayden Clemons passed for two touchdowns and rushed for two scores, and Skyridge’s defense recorded two safeties as the Falcons dominated Murray to improve to 2-0 this preseason. Gavin Stanclift rushed for a pair of TDs as well.

JUAN DIEGO 56, JUDGE MEMORIAL 14: Zach Hoffman rushed for five touchdowns as Juan Diego dominated Judge Memorial in the highly-anticipated rivalry showdown. Tristen Tonozzi added a rushing score of his own in the first half as Juan Diego built a 28-0 halftime lead.

COPPER HILLS 16, BEN LOMOND 13: Copper Hills’ Brayden Terry kicked a game-winning 24-yard field goal in overtime as the Grizzlies defeated Ben Lomond. Jumarius Earls scored two rushing touchdowns for Copper Hills.

SUMMIT ACADEMY 35, EMERY 3: Mitch Hansen and Talmage Brown both rushed for two touchdowns apiece as Summit Academy held Emery to a field goal. The Bears also returned a fumble for a touchdown in the victory.

BEAR RIVER 19, BOX ELDER 0: Tate Porter scored a defensive touchdown for Bear River, which also recorded a safety, as the Bears blanked rival Box Elder for a very impressive preseason victory. Drake Marsh added a five-yard TD run to get the scoring started in the first half for the Bears.

FREMONT 28, PLEASANT GROVE 27: The Silver Wolves defeated the Vikings in overtime as Pleasant Grove failed to convert the potential game-winning two-point conversion in overtime. Fremont was led in the victory by quarterback Dawson Sanford, who threw for two scores, one to Cade Hadley and another to Griffin Rhees. Hunter Burton and Jay Scott each added a touchdown on the ground for the Silver Wolves, with Scott’s score proving the difference.

SOUTH SUMMIT 57, MORGAN 7: The Wildcats jumped out to a 36-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back en route to the big offensive victory over Morgan. Kael Atkinson passed for six touchdowns to lead South Summit, connecting with Jared Dansie twice and Keegan Stracher for another three.

DELTA 30, MANTI 14: Trevor Burton returned a blocked punt 30 yards for a touchdown to open up the scoring, and the Rabbits never looked back from there in a convincing win over visiting Manti. Trey Brough, Dallin Draper and Jared Bennett all adding rushing TDs for Delta.

UNION 27, NORTH SANPETE 21: Union outscored North Sanpete 15-6 in the final quarter of the game to pull out a win. Lincoln Labrum threw for two key touchdowns in the fourth quarter and converted a two-point conversion attempt.

NORTH SEVIER 41, GUNNISON 14: Gabe Wilcox scored a pair of touchdown runs to lead the North Sevier offense to a dominating win over Gunnison. Wolves quarterback Taylor Crane tossed two touchdown passes in the win.

UINTAH 16, MAPLE MOUNTAIN 13: Caleb Petree rushed for 92 yards and two touchdowns as Uintah outscored Maple Mountain 16-7 in the second half to rally for the preseason victory.

BAYFIELD (COLORADO) 39, SAN JUAN 0: San Juan couldn’t get much going offensively as they were shut out on the road in Bayfield, Colorado.

PROVO 23, WESTLAKE 14: Kelton Bertangini scored on a fumble recovery in the first half, and he also hauled in a pair of TD receptions from Bryce Orton as the Bulldogs earned an impressive victory over Westlake by blanking the Thunder in the second half.

WEBER 38, ROY 28: Roy scored 20 points in the first quarter but Weber was too much for the Royals over the course of the game and came out victorious. Weber scored 14 points in both the second and third quarters to quickly erase the early deficit and jump ahead of the home team.

GRANTSVILLE 42, MINICO (IDAHO) 28: Coy Johnson threw three touchdowns and Parker Thomas added a pair of rushing scores as Grantsville earned a solid victory over Minico, Idaho, at Idaho State University. The Cowboys outscored Minico 28-14 in the second half.

HIGHLAND 35, LAYTON 0: Trayton Keyes scored a pair of rushing TDs, and Bronson Olevao and Colton White added TDs of their own as Highland blanked Layton for the preseason win.

NORTHRIDGE 34, BONNEVILLE 7: Northridge got off to a fast 14-0 start against Bonneville and didn’t look back, holding the Lakers to just seven points. Brevin Perkins was masterful, scoring touchdowns on a run, fumble recovery and pass reception. Jackson Murphy and Kobe Davis also scored touchdowns.

TIMPVIEW 34, AMERICAN FORK 33: After American Fork’s Bronson Barron connected with Farrell Dean on a 20-yard TD pass with 1:21 remaining, the Cavemen elected to go for the two-point conversion, but Timpview got the stop to preserve the victory. Isaiah Ramos led Timpview offensively with four passing touchdowns, including two to Gunnar Reay.

RICHFIELD 19, SOUTH SEVIER 6: Emmit Hafen scored on TD runs of 10, 1 and 3 yards as Richfield took care of business against visiting rival South Sevier for the preseason victory. Richfield built a 19-0 halftime lead and coasted from there.

DIXIE 44, LONE PEAK 30: Dixie emerged victorious in an offensive shootout with Lone Peak, outscoring the Knights 21-14 in the final half of the contest. Hobbs Nyberg hauled in three touchdown passes while Flyers quarterback Jacob Barben threw six touchdown passes in the win.

TAYLORSVILLE 55, STANSBURY 36: Taylorsville quarterback Dane Leituala rushed for four touchdowns and threw for two more in the Warriors’ win. Taylorsville scored at least 13 points in each of the four quarters.

AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 17, LAYTON CHRISTIAN 10: A touchdown run by Ethan Morley was the difference as American Leadership defeated Layton Christian. Morley scored two touchdowns on the night, leading the Eagles to victory.

BEAVER 17, KANAB 14: Knotted up 14-14 at halftime, a 32-yard field goal by Beaver kicker Sheldon Lebaron was the difference maker as the Beavers pulled out the win over the Cowboys.

MONTICELLO 44, WAYNE 0: Spencer Knudsen threw four touchdown passes, including a pair to Max Hedglin, as Monticello dominated Wayne for the preseason victory. Tyler Draper added a defensive touchdown in the second half for the Buckaroos.

MILFORD 63, WHITE PINE, NEV., 0: Bryson Barnes passed for two scores and rushed for another while Brian Williamson added a pair of defensive touchdowns as Milford rolled past White Pine, Nev., for the preseason victory. Ty Netto added a pair of rushing TDs for the Tigers.

MILLARD 14, PAROWAN 13: Parowan built a 13-0 lead on Millard behind two rushing TDs from Porter Wood, but Millard rallied for the victory as Slade Sheriff returned the opening kickoff of the second half for a touchdown for what proved to be the game-winning score.

DUCHESNE 27, NORTH SUMMIT 12: Duchesne built a 27-0 lead on North Summit through the first three quarters as Jarett Spencer recorded four passing touchdowns, including a pair to Jaren Mortensen. Kade Lamborn and Brock Ford also caught TD passes for the Eagles.

ALTAMONT 7, LYMAN (WYOMING) 6: Mckay Foy opened the third quarter with an 80-yard kick return and Joshua Oldroyd nailed the extra point, which proved to be the difference as visiting Altamont edged Lyman, Wyo., for its first win of the season.

SKY VIEW 49, TOOELE 22: The Bobcats were electrifying in the win over Tooele, especially in the first half. Sky View scored all but seven of its points in the first half, including three touchdowns by Ryder Lundahl, and one each courtesy of Cole Stokes, Mike Johnson and Gino Demuzio. Quarterback Jackson Siddoway was excellent for Sky View, tossing five touchdown passes.

ALTA 42, WOODS CROSS 7: The Hawks offense didn’t lose a beat, racking up two touchdowns in each of the first three quarters. Tu’u Afu, who ran for two scores, led five Alta touchdown scorers. In addition to Afu, Indy Hanson and MJ Tafisi each ran for a touchdown while quarterback Will Dana threw for a score and ran for another.

LEHI 21, PINE VIEW 14: Cammon Cooper threw three touchdown passes, including two to Kade Moore, as Lehi won a defensive game against Pine View a week after winning a shootout against Alta.

SPRINGVILLE 32, SPANISH FORK 29: The Red Devils held on to win at Spanish Fork. Bradley Nicol led the way with 30 carries for 248 yards and a touchdown. Sean Eriksson came up big as well, with 125 yards passing and a rushing touchdown. Randal Gleave was the star of the game, taking the opening kick 70 yards for a touchdown, and then sealing the win with an interception.

HELIX (CALIFORNIA) 35, HERRIMAN 0: Herriman couldn’t get much going offensively on the road at Helix, California, as it dropped its second game of the season.

MOUNTAIN CREST 28, WASATCH 7: Brady Hall threw four touchdown passes and Mountain Crest held Wasatch scoreless until the fourth quarter as the Mustangs picked up an impressive victory to improve to 2-0 this preseason.

CHRISTIAN (CALIFORNIA) 60, HURRICANE 38: The Tigers fell behind Christian, Calif., early, by as many as 20 points, before making a determined comeback attempt. The deficit was too great, however, and Hurricane fell to the visiting out-of-state opponent. The Tigers were led by Tyler Moore, who rushed for three scores, and Jaron Cordova, who added two more.

JUAB 14, CEDAR 3: Cedar got on the board first in the defensive battle, but two touchdowns were enough for Juab to get the win in the end. Joey Aagard got the Wasps on the board with a 13-yard run while Kolbe Ballow sealed the win with a 38-yard pick-six in the fourth quarter.

CLEARFIELD 36, COTTONWOOD 3: Five different Clearfield players — Justin Brown, Jaxon Mansfield, Devon Poll, Ethan Jones and Jaret Scott — scored touchdowns as the Falcons romped over the Cottonwood Colts. Mansfield also threw two touchdowns in the victory.

PARK CITY 15, LOGAN 7: AJ Adrian hauled in an 8-yard TD pass from Mark McCurdy in the third quarter and Chris Quinlan added a rushing TD in the fourth quarter as Park City overcame a 7-3 halftime deficit to beat Logan for its first win of the season.

TIMPANOGOS 55, MOUNTAIN VIEW 13: In a game highlighted by back-to-back kickoff returns to open the game, Timpanogos proceeded to roll to the victory as Gabe Sweeten threw four passing touchdowns for the T-Wolves. Rory Ziegra added two receiving TDs and a rushing touchdown for Timpanogos.

SNOW CANYON 30, RIDGELINE 10: Ryan Bethers carried the ball five times for 76 yards and two touchdowns as Snow Canyon overcame an early 10-0 deficit to Ridgeline to pull away for the preseason victory.

CORNER CANYON 48, RIVERTON 7: Zach Wilson went off in the Chargers’ huge win over Riverton, throwing five touchdown passes and running for another score. Wilson’s favorite targets were Colton Lawson and JT Cutrer, who each had two receiving TDs. Corner Canyon did most of the damage in the first half, jumping out to a 42-7 lead by half, and coasted to victory from there.

VIRGIN VALLEY (NEVADA) 31, CANYON VIEW 12: The Falcons fell behind early against Virgin Valley, Nevada, and couldn’t make up the deficit. Hunter Anderson rushed for a score in the loss.

GRAND 57, CORTEZ (COLORADO) 0: Josh Jones and Bryant Troutt each accounted for three scoring plays to lead the Red Devils in the easy shutout victory over Cortez, Colorado.

GREEN CANYON 31, SHELLEY (IDAHO) 21: Joe Dygert passed for a pair of TDs to lead Green Canyon past Shelley, Idaho, for its first win in school history.
