3 keys in the Utah Jazz's 99-88 loss to the Charlotte Hornets

The Utah Jazz failed to build on their victory over the Washington Wizards on Wednesday, falling 99-88 to the Charlotte Hornets on the final game of their four-game road swing.

The turning point: Jeremy Lamb's layup with the game tied 85-all gave the Hornets the lead for good with 5 minutes to go.

The hero: Kemba Walker hit 4 of 6 from the 3-point line on his way to 22 points as the Hornets improved to 3-1 in 2018.

3 keys:

  • Royce O'Neale had a breakout game, scoring 11 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
  • Donovan Mitchell (35 points, 5 rebounds and two steals) reached 30 for the fourth time this season.
  • The rest of the Jazz starters combined for just 21 points as the Hornets had six players in double figures.
