Riding a 4-0 winning streak, BYU men’s tennis hits the road to take on San Diego State on Saturday.

BYU (4-0) picked up wins against Montana State and Weber State on Saturday in a doubleheader. No. 89 Sean Hill earned victories over his opponents in singles. Returning team members John Pearce, Matthew Pearce and Sam Tullis led the Cougars with wins in both singles and doubles last weekend. Doubles duo Matthew Pearce and David Ball continue to see success with a 3-0 record this season.

The Aztecs open their season Saturday with a doubleheader including Loyola Marymount University and BYU. With seven returning players, San Diego State (0-0) has a deep lineup. The last Aztec-Cougar matchup was in 2014 when BYU fell to San Diego State, 6-1.

Saturday’s match begins at 3 p.m. PST, at the Aztec Tennis Center in San Diego, California. Results will be posted to the BYU men’s schedule page.
