Twitter reacts to the new Jazz jerseys with hot takes, fire emojis and '80s jokes

The NBA community took note of the new Utah Jazz jerseys, and they received a mixed response.

On Tuesday night, the Utah Jazz debuted the “City Edition” uniforms, which are meant to represent Salt Lake City and Utah. Like much of the Beehive State’s southern region, the new jerseys are red, orange and yellow.

Vivint Arena’s court added a new feature, too, with the famous Moab Arch displayed near midcourt.

But did the jerseys and redesign go over well?

Plenty of people praised the new jersey and court, including the Utah Jazz.

Others had mixed emotions.

The new jerseys certainly drew criticism.

There were plenty of '80s jokes.

The shorts didn’t win over all fans, either.
