Strap on your winter boots, head to Midway and walk through a winter castle handcrafted from thousands of icicles for the second weekend of the Midway Ice Castles. CenterPoint Legacy Theatre’s “To Kill a Mockingbird”

This weekend marks the opening of CenterPoint Legacy Theatre’s production of “To Kill a Mockingbird.” Adapted from Harper Lee’s classic novel of the same title, the play follows the court proceedings of a black man accused of committing a crime against a white woman, telling the story of a prejudiced society observed through the eyes of Scout, a young girl living in 1930s Maycomb, Alabama. Monster Jam Triple Threat Series

The Monster Jam Triple Threat Series will roar in the New Year in Salt Lake City this weekend. The tour stop will feature eight athletes, seven competitions and monster jam trucks, speedsters and ATVs galore. Hilary Hahn plays Dvorak’s Violin Concerto

Three-time Grammy-winning violinist Hilary Hahn will perform Dvorak’s Violin Concerto in Salt Lake City this weekend.
