SALT LAKE CITY — Some call it Valentine’s Day. The cast of “Studio C,” however, considers it “Singles Awareness Day.”

The popular BYUtv show returns Monday with a new episode dedicated to single folks and their many awkward romantic encounters. Without giving too much away, here are some things viewers can look forward to:

  • Cast member Tori Pence romancing an unconscious swimmer
  • Two professionally incompetent but golden-voiced doctors
  • A surprising amount of vomit
  • Police brutality (don’t worry, it’s funny)

The new season of “Studio C” has ditched the live studio audience format, opting instead for prerecorded sketches with higher production values. Monday’s episode airs at 7 p.m. Mountain Time. For more information, visit byutv.org/studioc.
