Deseret News

The news of Rob Porter is very disturbing, yet his alleged crime pales to the alarming discovery that this administration has shared classified information daily with him without passing the required security clearance. Further reporting shows that at least a dozen people in Trump's administration are lacking these credentials.

During the 2016 campaign, all we heard from the Trump team about Hillary was to "lock her up" for sharing classified emails with people who had security clearance. Jared Kushner has no clearance and is exposed daily to classified information while in a compromising financial situation with other countries, and his sister is selling investor visas to the Chinese. Trey Gowdy has not said one word. The Oversight Committee chair has an oath to investigate why this White House, after more than a year, has people that are not secured to view classified information. This is just another exposure from this administration that Congress refuses to act on for our country. I am urging my elected officials: Do your job and request these breaches be stopped.
