SALT LAKE CITY — After opening the season with 19 straight games on the road, the University of Utah baseball team plays its home opener against Sacramento State Friday night at Smith’s Ballpark. Game time is 6 p.m. Left-hander Josh Tedeschi is the scheduled starter for the Utes (2-17).
The series continues Saturday and Sunday with games at 1 p.m. each day.
