SALT LAKE CITY — Police have identified a 9-year-old girl who died Saturday after she was hit by a car.
Maggie McKay was hit Saturday morning near 1475 W. 500 North, Salt Lake police said.
It was not known why the girl was in the road when the collision occurred, said Salt Lake Police Lt. Justin Hudson. The driver who struck her did not see her, he said.
