OGDEN — Weber State University’s Diversity & Inclusive Programs invites the public to attend the 19th annual Gospel Music Festival on Friday, Jan. 25, from 7:30 p.m. 9:30 p.m. at the Browning Center Austad Auditorium.
Six choirs are currently scheduled to perform at the festival, which is designed to educate and celebrate cultural enrichment. The theme this year is “Shine Your Light.”
The festival began as a one-time community event in 2000 and has evolved into an annual campus and community tradition to celebrate the new year and Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
While the event is free, donations of canned or nonperishable food items for the Weber Cares Pantry are encouraged. The pantry provides assistance to WSU students, faculty and staff who are experiencing food insecurity or need resources such as personal hygiene items.
