President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump handed out candy to trick-or-treaters at the White House on Monday, and social media has gone haywire over one awkward moment from the event, according to Fox News.

The president and first lady passed out candy to costumed children from military families and local elementary schools at a pre-Halloween event Monday evening, according to CNN.

When a child dressed in an inflatable minion costume (from the film “Despicable Me”) approached President Trump, the viral exchange took place, as first shared by Sky News.

Trump first tapped the head of the inflatable costume with a chocolate bar, and then placed the bar on top of the costume, according to Time magazine. Melania Trump then placed a second chocolate bar on top of the child’s costume.

Both of the candy bars fell to the ground without the child appearing to have noticed, though a nearby woman picked up the candy and gave it to the child, according to Fox.
