John Krasinski is a huge fan of Emily Blunt — and was one long before the two were married nine years ago.

The “A Quiet Place” director and star talked recently about how he and Blunt are able keep a balance between career and family, according to E!News. The couple starred together in “A Quiet Place” in 2018 and recently wrapped filming on a sequel, and they’re also parents to two young daughters.

“I gotta say it just sort of happens organically,” Krasinski told E!News. “It’s one of those things where I was a huge fan of hers before I even met her, so I continue to be a huge fan of hers in everything she does. So we’re just extremely supportive, we get what the job is and that you gotta travel and do some stuff, but it’s always about coming back home and being together, it’s the most important thing.”

Krasinski has talked in the past about being a “fan” of his wife. He particularly loves her performance in “The Devil Wears Prada,” which he claims to have watched over 70 times, according to People magazine.

Blunt has been public in her support of Krasinski as well. When she won a Screen Actors Guild Award earlier this year for her performance in “A Quiet Place,” she made sure to mention her husband in her acceptance speech.

“I am going to share this completely with my husband, John Krasinski, because the entire experience of doing this with you has completely pierced my heart,” Blunt said in her speech, according to Time magazine. “You are a stunning filmmaker. I am so lucky to be with you and to have done this film with you.”
