Utah State football to hold annual spring game on Saturday, April 13 at noon

Utah State football's annual Blue vs. White Spring Game will be held on Saturday, April 13, on Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium at noon.

Gates at Maverik Stadium will open at 11 a.m., and fans are encouraged to take advantage of free interactive inflatables prior to the event.

The south ticket office at Maverik Stadium, as well as concessions on the south concourse, will also open at 11 a.m. Ticket office representatives will be available to answer any ticket related questions and assist with football season ticket renewals.

A large number of former Aggies, including numerous current and former NFL players such as Chris Cooley, Greg Kragen, Nevin Lawson, Phil Olsen, Donald Penn, Al Smith, Robert Turbin and Bobby Wagner, among others, will be in attendance during the scrimmage and will be recognized as a group prior to the start of the scrimmage.

The Aggies will be divided into two teams, and those squads will be coached by assistant head coach and tight ends coach Frank Maile and defensive ends coach Bojay Filimoeatu. Maile will lead the Utah State team, while Filimoeatu will coach the Aggies team.

The scrimmage will begin with the ball on the 40-yard line and the first half will consist of two 12-minute quarters with a normal clock operation. Following halftime, the second half will consist of a 20-minute half with a running clock, except for the last two minutes.

Utah State will also work on kickoffs, field goals, PATs and punts during the scrimmage.

During the spring game, fans will be selected to attempt to kick a field goal and field a punt, in addition to a punt/pass/kick challenge versus current USU senior placekicker Dominik Eberle.

Utah State will conclude spring camp with a pair of closed practices on Monday and Tuesday, April 15-16.

Season ticket renewals are currently being accepted. To renew, fans should visit or do so in person or by phone through the USU Ticket Office during regular business hours (435-797-0305). New season ticket orders can also be made at this time.
