LOGAN – Utah State's track and field teams are set to compete in three different events in California this weekend — the Bryan Clay Invitational, the Mt. SAC Relays and the Beach Invitational.

The Aggie multi-eventers will compete at the Bryan Clay Invitational on Wednesday and Thursday, April 17-18, in Azusa, California. Junior Alyssa Hirschi-Swenson and sophomore Talie Bonds will make their outdoor season debuts in the heptathlon, while freshman Roman Ruiz will make his outdoor debut decathlon. Senior Adam Hendrickson and sophomore Stokton Smith will also compete in the 3,000-meter steeplechase on Thursday, April 18.

Utah State's top track athletes will compete at the prestigious Mt. SAC Relays on the campus of El Camino College in Torrance, California. Among the participants are two Aggie All-Americans in seniors Cierra Simmons-Mecham and Alyssa Snyder. On the men's side, junior Sam Clausnitzer will make his outdoor debut in the 5,000 meter-run, and will be joined by senior James Withers and sophomores and Luke Bailey in the same event.
