SARATOGA SPRINGS — A construction worker was injured Wednesday while installing cement piping in Saratoga Springs, police said.

The man was working in a hole, putting in cement piping, when a piece of piping shifted and hit him, said Sgt. Zach Robinson with the Saratoga Springs Police Department.

He was critically injured but is expected to live, Robinson said.
