SALT LAKE CITY — Motorists leaving Salt Lake City International Airport will take a new road out beginning Friday at 5 a.m.
Traffic will be redirected on a new roadway between the new parking garage and central terminal. The change will allow construction crews the space needed to install two helixes, which will be used by drivers to exit the new airport parking garage.
The route will be in place until September 2020 when the new airport is expected to open. Airport officials are urging drivers to observe the posted speed limit and reminding those picking up passengers to remain in the park and wait lot until passengers are at the curb with their luggage.
