SALT LAKE CITY — There will be a reunion on the court this fall of two polarizing former Utah Jazz players, as Gordon Hayward and Enes Kanter are now both on the Boston Celtics.

On Wednesday, Kanter tweeted a video clip of Hayward speaking to Boston media in which the one-time All-Star is asked to reflect on the time the two were teammates on the Jazz (from 2011-2015).

Hayward spoke for 41 seconds, noting how both players are different now compared to how they were in Utah, and praised Kanter’s personality and offensive skills.

“I’ve watched his game grow up as he’s been around the league with different teams,” Hayward said in part. “He’ll be a fan favorite. Everyone’s gonna love his energy that he brings.”
