GUNNISON VALLEY 22, RICH 12: Gunnison pulled away for good early in the fourth quarter on a one-yard touchdown run from Jon Wilden.

DUCHESNE 41, NORTH SUMMIT 14: The Eagles handled the Wildcats, thanks in part to a memorable performance by quarterback Kason Grant. Grant threw for three touchdowns, one apiece to Colin Skewes, Gavin Davis and Jordan Clayburn. Davis also rushed for a score, as did Brock Adams and Kaleb Sanchez.

BEAVER 41, MILFORD 0: Ryker Albrecht was the star of the night, rushing for three touchdowns and throwing for another as Beaver shut out Milford. | Full story

ENTERPRISE 14, NORTH SEVIER 10: Braxton Messersmith’s six-yard run in the fourth quarter put Enterprise on top for good as the Wolves defeated North Sevier.

KANAB 34, PAROWAN 20: Sam Orton threw two touchdowns late in the first half to extend the Cowboys’ lead from a single point to 15. Kanab would never look back and waltzed to a big win on the road over the Rams.


WEBER 38, NORTHRIDGE 14: Braeden Hart returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown and added a 70-yard reception for a score while Cannon Devries had both a 40-yard punt return and a 53-yard reception for touchdowns. The Warriors’ explosive offensive offense led them to an early lead and big win over the Knights.

FREMONT 17, CLEARFIELD 7: The Silver Wolves defense only allowed one touchdown, a six-yard pass from Bransen Simper to Grayson Banks late in the fourth quarter. This led Fremont to a tough region victory behind Mitch Stratford and Justin Sagapolu scores.

DAVIS 21, LAYTON 14: Carston Christensen had two scores, both from inside the five yard-line, but it was Chance Trujillo’s 22-yard touchdown run at the beginning of the fourth quarter that put the Darts out of reach for the Lancers. Tyler Reid connected with Aidan Fullmer for Layton’s scores.

SYRACUSE 41, ROY 38: Syracuse prevailed in a two-overtime barn burner. Syracuse’s Bridger Hamblin scored the final score of the game on a 7-yard touchdown run.

WEST JORDAN 30, WEST 27: West Jordan prevailed in a back-and-forth game, with Isaiah Lapale scoring three rushing touchdowns, the last of which sealed the game for the Jaguars.

CYPRUS 27, TAYLORSVILLE 20: Parker Meldrum and Jhdhan Lester rushed for touchdowns and Meldrum threw two scores as Cyprus beat Taylorsville.

HUNTER 35, GRANGER 6: Trailing 6-0 at the half, Hunter scored 35 unanswered points in the second half as Jordan Tupea rushed for two touchdowns and DaiSean Cash added two rushing scores and a passing TD as the Wolverines pulled away for the easy region win. | 8 in custody after shots fired outside Utah high school football game


FARMINGTON 25, BOX ELDER 8: Jeremy WIlcox hauled in two touchdown passes from Wyatt Evertsen as Farmington pulled away from Box Elder in the second half for the Region 5 win.

BONNEVILLE 27, VIEWMONT 17: Thanks to a strong first half, the Lakers topped the Vikings. Bonneville scored 21 unanswered points to start the game and shut out Viewmont in the first half. Bonneville quarterback Kamen Best threw for two touchdowns, one each to Jordan Mickles and Jordan Citte. Citte added a rushing score, as did Kord Shaw. The Vikings rallied in the second half, thanks to a touchdown connection between quarterback Will Schultz and Kaden Smith, as well as a rushing score by Jamo Allen, but the Lakers proved too much in the end.

WOODS CROSS 41, BOUNTIFUL 24: After giving up a Braves field goal to start the game, Woods Cross responded with four straight touchdowns. Carter Welerman threw all four as Braden Freestone and Luke Hyde each caught one while Evan Blanchard hauled in two.


MURRAY 69, COTTONWOOD 0: Jarrett Henriksen passed for four touchdowns to four different receivers and Raymond Okialda added two rushing touchdowns as Murray dominated Cottonwood for the victory.

SKYLINE 42, HILLCREST 0: Zac Kaufman and Mason Lund each rushed for two touchdowns and Braxton Bolingbrooke threw for two scores as Skyline romped over Hillcrest.


SKY VIEW 32, GREEN CANYON 24: Kason Carlson scored three touchdowns, all coming after the Bobcats faced a 14-5 deficit early in the second quarter. Wade Carlisle also found the end zone for a crucial score right before the half.

TIMPVIEW 42, MOUNTAIN RIDGE 0: Timpview scored throughout the game, slowly building its way to a blowout win. Targhee Lambson led the offense with three touchdowns while the defense didn’t allow a single point on the other side.


WASATCH 45, SPANISH FORK 7: Parker Quinton threw for four touchdown passes and rushed for another. Three of Quntion’s touchdown passes were to Jake Gillman.

PROVO 28, SPRINGVILLE 22: Luke Haslem threw two touchdowns and Dallin Havea rushed for another as Provo got the win over Springville. | Full story

MAPLE MOUNTAIN 31, PAYSON 0: Tyler Nelson threw three touchdown passes — two to Brian Bess — as Maple Mountain cruised to the victory.

DIXIE 34, SNOW CANYON 28: Preston Moore rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns and Dixie quarterback Reggie Graff added 106 rushing yards and another score as the Flyers held off Snow Canyon to remain undefeated in Region 9.

DESERT HILLS 40, HURRICANE 25: Logan Wilstead threw four touchdowns as Desert Hills beat Hurricane.

PINE VIEW 49, CRIMSON CLIFFS 7: Macloud Crowton threw three touchdown passes — one pass each to Dayson Moore, Izaiah Moten and Preston Mann — as Pine View blew out Crimson Cliffs.

CEDAR CITY 43, CANYON VIEW 7: Kolbe Meek scored four touchdowns to lead the Reds over Canyon View. One was a rushing score from 65 yards out while the other three were receptions from quarterback Jaron Garrett.


CEDAR VALLEY 35, BEN LOMOND 0: Jaxson Hooley threw four touchdown passes and AJ Lindsey had a touchdown run as Cedar Valley shut out Ben Lomond.

PARK CITY 59, OGDEN 14: Park City scored 38 points in the third quarter to pull away from Ogden. Jack Skidmore threw three touchdowns, two to Jake Kohn, in the win.

STANSBURY 38, TOOELE 0: The Stallions shut out the Buffaloes in the battle between rivals. Stansbury quarterback Kru Huxford threw for a touchdown and rushed for another and Tommy Christopherson added three rushing scores in the runaway win.

MOUNTAIN VIEW 42, UINTAH 10: After a competitive first half, the Bruins rolled through the second half by a score of 28-0. This was Mountain View’s third straight year with a win over the Utes.


BEAR RIVER 20, RIDGELINE 14: After Ridgeline started the game 14-0, Bear River scored 20 unanswered points to take home the win. Chance Udy, Justice Dworshak and Ren Fonnesbeck all scored for the Bears.

MOUNTAIN CREST 33, LOGAN 13: After a winless start to the season, the Mustangs responded in a big way against the Grizzlies. Mountain Crest rallied from a 13 point first quarter deficit for the 20-point victory. Quarterback Taden Burbank threw a pair of touchdown passes, while Trae Fuller, Walker Hutchinson and Hunter Schroeder each ran in scores.


CORNER CANYON 59, ALTA 28: Cole Hagen had a monster game to lead Corner Canyon to the blowout win over Alta as he passed for six touchdowns and then rushed for two more as the Chargers dominated to stay undefeated this season.

DELTA 28, SOUTH SEVIER 7: Delta scored 20 points in the fourth quarter to beat South Sevier.

AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 69, JUDGE MEMORIAL 27: American Leadership routed Judge, dropping 69 points on the Bulldogs. Jacob Negus threw three touchdowns, including three TD tosses to Fielding Morley. Negus also rushed for two touchdowns.

MANTI 12, RICHFIELD 9: Jax Parry connected with Austin Cox for a touchdown, Seth Cornelsen hit a field goal and Manti recorded a safety to win.

UNION 45, CARBON 26: After a close first half, the Cougars ran away with the victory over the Dinos. Union quarterback Lincoln Labrum threw for two scores and ran for two more. The first rushing score was the first of three second-half rushing touchdowns scored by Union, which also had a fumble return for a touchdown. All told, the Cougars outscored Carbon 19-7 in the second half.

JUAB 50, EMERY 7: Cade Bowring returned the game’s opening kickoff for a touchdown and then caught a 30-yard pass from Zac Cowan three minutes later and the Wasps never looked back as they rolled to the win over Emery. Louk Stevens added a pick-6 for Juab in the second half.

NORTH SANPETE 42, GRAND 10: Conner Jorgensen rushed for five touchdowns and also returned a punt for another touchdown, all in the first half, as North Sanpete dominated Grand for the region win. The Hawks built a 42-0 lead before Grand scored 10 points in the fourth quarter.

SUMMIT ACADEMY 49, PROVIDENCE HALL 8: Joe Garlick passed for two touchdowns and Summit Academy added a punt return, kick return and interception return for touchdowns -- all in the first half -- as it rolled past Providence Hall for the victory.

SKYRIDGE 28, OREM 14: Skyridge had two fumble recoveries for touchdowns en route to a victory over Orem. The Falcons’ first fumble recovery was a 75-yard scoop and score by Stone Mulitalo, while the second one came just six second later on a scoop and score from Carson Baker.

BINGHAM 47, WESTLAKE 14: Preston Larson rushed for three touchdowns and caught another one in Bingham’s blowout win.

JUAN DIEGO 31, COPPER HILLS 0: Juan Diego’s defense shined, not allowing a single point from Copper Hills. Jayden Madry and Dominic Lewis each rushed for two scores.

SALEM HILLS 28, HIGHLAND 14: Salem Hills got off to a fast start, scoring 14 points to open the game en route to a victory over Highland. | Full story

GRANTSVILLE 52, SAN JUAN 32: Trent Brown rushed for two touchdowns and James Fuluvaka rushed for a score while Jackson Sandberg threw for two touchdowns in Grantsville’s win.

RIVERTON 32, KEARNS 26: The Silverwolves defeated the Cougars in a back-and-forth thriller. The teams swapped leads multiple times, with Kearns appearing to take the lead for good with just over two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter when Mario Zamora took an interception 40 yards for a score. On the ensuing kickoff, Riverton answered, however. Isaac Rengers took the kick 80 yards for a touchdown, which proved to be the game-winner. Kaleb Hamblin and Seth Davis each had rushing touchdowns for Riverton, while quarterback Jaxon Howard found Braden Woodruff for an additional score. Kearns was led by quarterback Dakota Lynde, who threw and rushed for score.

MILLARD 56, MONTICELLO 0: Brooks Myers tossed three touchdowns, while Austin Burraston rushed for three more as Millard rolled past Monticello for the nonregion win.

HERRIMAN 34, AMERICAN FORK 21: Herriman turned it on in the fourth quarter, outscoring American Fork 20-7 in the final period. Jaxon James threw two touchdowns and rushed for another in the win. | Full story

PLEASANT GROVE 35, MADISON, IDAHO 7: Pleasant Grove scored four rushing touchdowns by four different players — Caleb Campbell, Dane Doman, Evan Robinson and Rex Connors — to roll to the win.
