SALT LAKE CITY — Fire managers are lifting fire restrictions in Washington, Kane, Beaver and Iron counties beginning Thursday due to cooler temperatures, forecasted moisture and lower potential for human caused wildfire activity.

Despite the restrictions being lifted, wildfire danger still exists and residents are advised to use caution when recreating or engaging in any fire-related activity. Burning debris is strictly regulated by permit only.

Residents should check with local fire departments, county fire wardens or local land management agencies for requirements.
