#CivilWar2 was trending on Twitter Monday — but not for the reason many Marvel fans thought.

Fans of the superhero movie franchise were disappointed to find that it was not a reference to a sequel to “Captain America: Civil War,” but instead related to something President Donald Trump tweeted Sunday evening.

What happened?

President Donald Trump retweeted comments Sunday evening from Pastor Robert Jeffress, who spoke on Fox News on Sunday morning, according to CNN.

Trump tweeted, “If the Democrats are successful in removing the President from office (which they never will be), it will cause a Civil War like fracture in this Nation from which our Country will never heal.”

The tweet, and the hashtag #CivilWar2, began trending Monday morning, according to Newsweek.

Marvel fans’ reactions

Marvel fans had a lot of feelings when they realized what #CivilWar2 was actually about.
