2A NORTH

NORTH SUMMIT 38, LAYTON CHRISTIAN 6: The Braves made short work of the Eagles, thanks to a balanced attack. Cannon Richins, Carsen McKnight, Kale Hobson, Hunter Rex and Beau Woolenstine each scored in the win, with Richins contributing a pair of touchdowns. Richins scored both on offense and defense, with a 10-yard touchdown run and a 26-yard interception return for a touchdown.

MONTICELLO 28, GUNNISON VALLEY 8: Monticello got off to a fast start, scoring three touchdowns to open the game — two by Brevin Olson. Tate Ramsay and Carson King each caught passes from quarterback Devin Hatch as Monticello cruised to victory.

2A SOUTH

BEAVER 54, NORTH SEVIER 6: Beaver coasted to victory over North Sevier. Ryker Albrecht rushed for a touchdown and threw for two more in the win.

PAROWAN 19, ENTERPRISE 7: Hutch Miller hit paydirt twice and Levi Saylor scored as Parowan beat Enterprise.

REGION 1

FREMONT 28, NORTHRIDGE 24: With 34 seconds remaining, Brandon Baray hauled in a 44-yard pass from Mitch Stratford for a touchdown to give Fremont the win over Northridge. It was Baray’s second touchdown of the night.

DAVIS 48, CLEARFIELD 0: Chance Trujillo rushed for a touchdown and tossed in another three, connecting with Peter Stevenson twice and David Spjut once as the Darts shut out the Falcons.

ROY 28, LAYTON 24: After Layton scored three straight times to open up the contest, Roy responded with four touchdowns in a row, which proved to be the difference. Three of those touchdowns were from quarterback Jaxson Dart to receiver Cade Harris.

REGION 2

KEARNS 54, TAYLORSVILLE 7: Kearns stayed perfect with a 54-7 romp over Taylorsville. Isaiah Afatasi and Naki Leha each scored two rushing touchdowns.

HUNTER 34, WEST JORDAN 24: The Wolverines defeated the Jaguars, rallying for the win in the final quarter. Hunter scored 13 fourth quarter points, when DaiSean Cash found Nathan Suaste for both scores. Cash finished with four touchdowns total — two through the air and two on the ground.

WEST 32, CYPRUS 21: Abraham Williams rushed for three touchdowns and Pule Alo and Mohammed Traore each hit paydirt on the ground as West beat Cyprus.

REGION 6

SKYLINE 62, COTTONWOOD 0: Skyline ran all over Cottonwood, winning 62-0.

OLYMPUS 42, MURRAY 7: Chase Hopkins found paydirt two times and Scotty Edwards rushed for a score and caught a touchdown pass as Olympus defeated Murray.

HIGHLAND 41, HILLCREST 17: The Rams defense held the Huskies scoreless in the second half to give Highland the opportunity it needed to secure the victory on the road. Colton White, Hunter Lambert, Ben Boren, Nephi Hosea and Paul Clark (two) each rushed for a Highland TD in the win.

REGION 7

LEHI 47, MOUNTAIN RIDGE 3: The Pioneers did all their scoring in the first half and cruised to the big win over Mountain Ridge. Quarterback Creyton Cooper connected with four different receivers for touchdowns to lead the Pioneers in the victory.

OREM 23, ALTA 16: Kanekulani Kahala-Giron tossed in two early touchdown passes to Jakob Robinson to help lift the Tigers over Alta in a Region 7 match-up. | Full story

REGION 8

SPRINGVILLE 35, MAPLE MOUNTAIN 22: Thanks to a 21-point second quarter, the Devils defeated the Golden Eagles. Payton Murphy had a standout performance, as the quarterback threw for four touchdowns and rushed for another. Austin Mortensen had three touchdown receptions, while Bradey Mortensen added another.

SALEM HILLS 58, PAYSON 7: The Skyhawks scored early and often to pick up the region victory over Payson.

PROVO 38, SPANISH FORK 13: The Bulldogs held the Dons to just two scoring plays in the Region 8 victory at home. Luke Haslem passed for two touchdowns and rushed for a third for Provo in the win.

REGION 9

DIXIE 59, CEDAR CITY 38: Reggie Graff thew four touchdowns and rushed for two more in Dixie’s win over Cedar City.

DESERT HILLS 27, SNOW CANYON 23: Desert Hills outscored Snow Canyon in the fourth quarter to grab the win. Jace Mortensen caught a 6-yard touchdown reception from Logan Wilstead and Wilstead ran it in himself to clinch the game.

HURRICANE 24, CRIMSON CLIFFS 14: After Crimson Cliffs took the lead in the second quarter, Hurricane responded with two touchdowns from quarterback Brexton Starley to Raymond Cordova, which was good enough to take home the win.

PINE VIEW 59, CANYON VIEW 14: The Panthers jumped out to a 35-7 lead at the end of the half and continued on to the region victory over Canyon View. Macloud Crowton passed for a total of 421 yards and tossed six touchdowns, finding both Izaiah Moten and Daylor Rymer twice in the win.

REGION 10

STANSBURY 52, CEDAR VALLEY 20: Buoyed by a strong first half in which it scored 38 points, Stansbury handily defeated Cedar Valley. Kru Huxford threw for three touchdowns in the win, to Taegon Harris, Gabe Harris and Pae Tia. Tommy Christophersn rushed for two scores in the win, while Cayden Clark had a 70-yard punt return for a score.

PARK CITY 47, UINTAH 0: Dylan Bauer ran for three touchdowns and Jack Skidmore tossed three more to lead Park City to a shutout victory on its home field.

TOOELE 61, BEN LOMOND 0: Nukuluve Helu ran for four of the Buffaloes’ nine touchdowns in the shutout victory over Tooele. Quarterback Kulani Iongi rushed and passed for another two TDs in the win.

MOUNTAIN VIEW 44, OGDEN 12: Duce Anderson rushed for two touchdowns and passed for two more in the Mountain View victory at home.

NONREGION

GREEN CANYON 27, BOX ELDER 9: Green Canyon overcame an early 9-0 hole and scored four straight touchdowns to get the win. Logan Holgate scored Box Elder’s only touchdown of the night in a loss to Green Canyon.

CORNER CANYON 42, JORDAN 7: Cole Hagen threw three touchdowns and rushed for one more as Corner Canyon romped over Jordan.

CARBON 50, JUDGE MEMORIAL 6: The Dinos picked up the road victory against Judge Memorial.

AMERICAN FORK 57, EAST 45: Thanks in part to a standout performance by quarterback Hayden Betts, American Fork topped East in a shootout. Betts threw for six touchdowns in relief of Maddux Madsen, who had a touchdown pass of his own, as well as a touchdown run. Garrison Grimes and Tanner Holden each had two touchdown receptions in the American Fork victory, helping the Cavemen hold off the Leopards. | Full story

SKY VIEW 45, MADISON, IDAHO 33: After a back-and-forth first half, the Bobcats rallied for a 14-0 third quarter to extend their lead and secure the home win against Madison, Idaho. Walter Collins rushed for two TDs and Scout Morris had a 82-yard kick return in the victory.

JUAB 49, SOUTH SEVIER 7: The Wasps scored early and often to pick up the home victory against South Sevier. Zac Cowan rushed for a touchdown and tossed in another three, connecting with Cade Bowring twice in the win. Bowring also rushed for another TD of his own.

SAN JUAN 58, AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 41: San Juan held a comfortable lead for most of the contest and captured a win in a game that featured 14 combined touchdowns from both sides.

CENTENNIAL, NEV. 41, WASATCH 24: Quarterback Parker Quinton and receiver Damien Skiby were quite the duo, accounting for all three of Wasatch’s touchdowns in a loss to Centennial, Nev.

PLEASANT GROVE 35, VIEWMONT 14: Big plays of 50 and 84 yards had Viewmont leading midway through the second quarter, but Pleasant Grove responded with big plays of their own to eventually pull away and claim the victory on the road. Porter Connors ran for two touchdowns and added one through the air.

NORTH SANPETE 21, RICHFIELD 14: Jaxton Langschwager caught a pass from Payton Clawson to put North Sanpete ahead of Richfield for good.

WOODS CROSS 43, TIMPANOGOS 2: Woods Cross jumped out to a 40-0 lead at the end of the half and never looked back en route to the victory over Timpanogos. Carter Weierman threw for five touchdowns, connecting with Luke Hyde for three of them, while the Timberwolves secured a last-minute safety to avoid the shutout.

MORGAN 37, BEAR RIVER 17: A quick safety and touchdown saw Bear River jump out to an early lead. Morgan responded with 27 unanswered to eventually claim the 37-17 win. Carter Thackeray threw for three touchdowns to lead the way for the Trojans.

LONE PEAK 28, FARMINGTON 22: Farmington’s 15 points in the fourth quarter proved to be too little, too late, as Lone Peak thwarted the comeback bid to claim the six-point victory at home. Shawn Wood’s two touchdown catches led the way for the Knights. | Full story

SOUTH SUMMIT 7, GRAND 6: Dante Wells kicked two field goals to give the Red Devils the lead, but a late South Summit touchdown from Payton Sanderson to Cam Sargent sealed the deal for the Wildcats in a hard-fought defensive battle.

HERRIMAN 41, WESTLAKE 7: Herriman stormed out of the gates early to gain a 21-0 lead and never looked back. The Herriman defense got on the board with two pick-sixes.

SUMMIT ACADEMY 48, UNION 21: Joe Garlick got it done for Summit Academy, throwing five touchdown passes and rushing for a score in the Bears’ win. Gage Sessions and Masen Chinn each caught two TD passes each.

COPPER HILLS 49, PROVIDENCE HALL 6: Marley Manuha had three short distance rushing touchdowns to help Copper Hills secure the big victory on the road.

MILFORD 46, DUCHESNE 21: Bryson Barnes threw for five touchdowns — two each to Bret Beebe and Zachary Sherwood and one to Blake Barnes — as Milford beat Duchesne.

BRIGHTON 34, BOUNTIFUL 15: The Bengals scored in each quarter to secure the road victory over Bountiful.

GRANTSVILLE 35, DELTA 8: The Cowboys held the Rabbits scoreless for three quarters while quarterback Jackson Sandberg tossed in four touchdowns for the Cowboys, connecting with Ammon Bartley twice to lead Grantsville to the victory over Delta.

BONNEVILLE 41, MOUNTAIN CREST 28: The Lakers topped the Mustangs in a thrilling back-and-forth game. Bonneville was powered by a pair of touchdowns by Brock Samuels as the Lakers jumped out to a commanding 21-6 lead in the first quarter. Mountain Crest answered with a 22-point second quarter, thanks to touchdowns by Trae Fuller, Hunter Schroeder and Emillo Veater. Bonneville had an answer though, with an 18-point fourth quarter that was enough to pull out the win.

RIVERTON 45, GRANGER 14: Quarterback Jaxon Howard rushed for a TD and also connected with Braden Woodruff and Brax Watt to lead the Silverwolves in the road victory against Granger. The Riverton defense limited the Lancers to just two scoring plays in the win.

HIGHLAND, IDAHO 16, RIDGELINE 13: The RiverHawks drew first blood, with two passing TDs from Kaden Cox, but ultimately fell to Highland, Idaho.
