Chick-fil-A — historically known for being closed on Sundays — will close its doors on an upcoming Saturday in December to celebrate a religious holiday.

  • That is to say, Chick-fil-A will be closed on Saturday, Dec. 25. That is also known as Christmas Day, when Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

Is Chick-fil-A open on Christmas?

Nope. Chick-fil-a is often closed on Christmas. Because Christmas falls on a Saturday this year, that means the restaurant will be closed for two days in a row, CNN reports.

  • Chick-fil-A will reopen Monday, Dec. 27.
  • This closure will impact 2,600 U.S. locations, per CNN.

Is Chick-fil-A open on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day?
